RESTORATION SERVICES
MTS offers restoration services for damages from fire, smoke, rain, flood and other unfortunate events in the life of microscopes and related equipment. MTS also restores old and antique microscopes.
In the event of a catastrophic event MTS offers in shop estimates at no charge for labor. The only expense incurred by the owner for the estimate is shipping costs.
As an added service MTS can arrange to provide on site phase-one salvage and overhaul at the customer’s site. The cost for on site inspection and salvage of damaged equipment is determined on a case by case basis. Please contact MTS for cost information.
MTS has been in the microscope business for over

microscope parts and contacts with many other dealers and sources of
microscope
parts. MTS has a machine shop for custom
fabrication and repair of parts as needed.

In some cases a microscope may seem unrepairable. You may not know for sure until it is examined by an expert. By utilizing MTS Restoration services you have more options. We can determine if the instrument can be repaired. We can give you the cost for repair and the cost to replace. In some cases we can offer a loaner while your instrument is being repaired or until you can purchase a new one.
