The prices listed in our catalog are subject to change. Unless notified by MTS the invoiced price will be our current price at the time that the order is placed. Upon notification of a price increase the customer will have the option to cancel the order or accept the current pricing.
Payment may be made by check with the order, PayPal or COD. PayPal payments are to be made to ed1mts@att.net. Institutions with established accounts may place orders by issuance of institutional purchase orders. Purchase orders may be in the form of E-mail, FAX or the US postal service. In an attempt to avoid errors we ask you to avoid verbal orders. All open accounts have payment terms of net 30 days. Accounts over 30 days are subject to a finance charge of 1.5 % per month.
Shipments up to three pounds and within the 48 states are shipped by UPS ground for a fee of $9.50. All other shipping methods will be charged at our cost plus a $2.00 handling fee. Large items may be subject to a crating fee. If an order cannot be shipped complete from stock we will make a partial shipment and backorder the remainder unless given specific instructions otherwise with the order.
For used equipment we offer a no-fault return
policy.
Used equipment may be returned within five days for a refund of the
purchase
price. For this refund: the equipment must be returned in
its
original shipping containers; the equipment must be in the same
condition as
received by the customer; and the shipping must be at the customer's
expense.

Special orders are subject to a 15% cancellation charge. Returns resulting from our shipping error will be given full credit. Other returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge. No returns will be accepted after thirty days.
The design and specifications of MTS products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to ship the latest improvement of equipment. For discontinued products we will ship the closest compatible components.
Mechanical repairs and products by MTS are warranted against defects in workmanship for one
year from the date of the invoice. Warranty repairs and necessary replacement parts will be charged:

· Routine service (i.e. cleaning & adjustment) is performed to the satisfaction of the customer at the time of service. We do not warranty that the instrument will stay clean. Any service calls at a later date will be considered a separate transaction and billable.
· Bulbs, lamps and electronic components are covered by the manufacturers’ warranties and are not warranted by MTS.
· Used equipment is sold “as is” unless otherwise specified. Equipment termed “rebuild” by MTS is warranted for a period of one year.
· Our estimates are primarily offered for the full service required to put the item back into proper operating condition. Where possible, we will accede to a request for a partial repair. However, under a partial repair category, no guarantee will apply for the proper over all function of the item as a whole. Only the recommended full service is covered by our repair warranty.
Our labor rate is $95.00 per hour. The minimum charge for a field service call is $150.00. There is no minimum for repairs performed in our shop. There is no charge for estimates of mechanical repairs performed in our shop. Electronic estimates are charged $25.00 if the repair is not ordered. All transportation cost for estimates are born by the customer.
